Black Group Sunday club run

8 riders left Appledore bridge heading for Whiskeys. It was good to have Simon back amongst us and Mak too. A message from Chairman Dave asking the group to meet him at Kenardington after he suffered ‘bike snags’. This determined our route, a familiar one with many climbs the biggest which was the hill out of Stowting. Soon at the cafe where a slightly confused waitress meant a longer wait. However extra tea and coffee was a bonus and the good humour of the group prevailed. Flat route home on the marsh to get the benefit of a back wind gave us a speedy return to Appledore. Beer was then taken in the Black Lion and a chance to discuss world matters.
